No. 41
This one's from all the way back in high school and I had to re-visit the inspiration for it to better detail it here. It's the exception to my statement above.
The lady: The main character is a very independent and strong female who is in command of any viewed soldiers/combatants. She was born with natural athletic talent and high reflexes. For forgotten reasons, she's able to strain her body in order to speed up her movements and senses, causing a time-slowed perception effect for herself. I named her Corlone because... It was good at the time.
She's strict and cold publicly, mostly to maintain order (this is a flexible trait I might just be making up now, but probably not). Out of public sight she's more relaxed, but only to the point of actually being a normal person. Fuck moe.
Songbird: A very skilled warrior from The West. He's a rather relaxed, logical and zen kind of man who goes where the winds blow him and can't be tied down by anything more than what he believes in himself. Uses either a falchion or a spear of some sort that I'm sure I saw in a Dynasty Warriors game (because "West" always meant "oriental" to me) and has a poof of fur or something just below the pointy bit at the top.
Being of The West, he's rather blunt in his honesty but never out of malice unless it's deserved; in which case, fighting usually ensues. He's gifted in being able to see situations from many perspectives, even foregoing grudges and alliances in order to arrive at what he considers a true path. He is in a similar standing of power to Corlone and commands the respect of his followers, but loses much favor when he joins her troops to fight the common enemy in the Udedan instead of continuing the feudal conflict between the two nations.
I don't remember if I ever gave him a name, but he ends up being the closest thing to a love interest that Corlone ever has. He's a very strong yet zen presence for all around him. Wait, I think I already said that... He has red hair.
The Piper: Corrupt national leader in [The East] (I never named Corlone's country) who contro
