Here is another of said novelty cooking techniques.
You can use a paper bag as a griddle if you have bacon or any kind of grease really. As long as the bag doesn't actually touch the coals, you can fry bacon, eggs, sausage, hash browns, or basically anything in any old brown paper bag.
Kind of neat for the resourceful element of it, and in some complicated scenario where you are lost in the wilderness with a supply of food, ability to craft fire, and for some reason a paper bag but no other cooking implement it could feasibly be the difference between a good day and a bad day. Though you can't boil water with it.
